Fluffing up the resume
I was selective on things to include on my resume I've worked at Accenture since 2020 this is correct and my current title is Business Analyst but put the duration that I was working at Accenture on my resume under the title. Thoughout my projects I've done many things that are business analyst related since the role was so similar I figured I'd combine it since I was a senior associate before for about a year and business analyst reflects the scope I was doing imo. How bad is this? #resume #company #interview
You want to lie on your resume and you are crowdsourcing approval for your dishonesty.
Do you think companies are honest when they mention the max TC they can offer? You get x and guy with competing offers get 2x. Ethics is a myth in tech industry!
That’s not unethical. That’s negotiation 101. The guy with competing offers has higher BATNA and is likely better. But go ahead be unethical if you want to.
I do that. LinkedIn has more granular data. Resume is too short for that sort of info.
