I understand one can either have a separate insurance coverage or be folded under spouse’s coverage. For a family of over 2, the latter makes more sense. Any thoughts? Also between the Premera plans, which one would you recommend for a family of 2+1 in the works. The two Premera plans are - health connect and HSA. Thank you #microsoft #microsoftbenefits
The HSA plan. Tax free deductible.
My wife has primera I have kaiser. We get the best of both worlds
Interesting- could you explain how this is best for you guys? What additional benefit do you get over just one type of plan? Thanks
Kaiser is very easy and streamlined but it sucks having to drive to Bellevue. Premera is nice because I can visit local doctors or recommended specialists. There wasn't any significant cost difference and since Microsoft allows spouses on employee plans, we figured why not. Glad I did because kaiser is great for certain things, Premera for others.
