Hi, I recently concluded my virtual onsite with Bloomberg for a Software Engineer New Grad position. I gave two technical coding rounds. Each round, I had to solve 2 questions. After that, I received a mail from my recruiter asking me to schedule time for an HR and Senior Manager round. The HR round was very basic behavioral type questions to gauge my work ethic and assess if I would be a good fit, I guess. The Senior Manager round mostly revolved around my experience with a basic system design question. I received a mail from my recruiter with a subject, "Follow up" and asking me to schedule time to talk in the coming week. There is no hint of whether this could be positive or not. Would anyone happen to know if Bloomberg calls for rejections or if it is normal for them to not convey if it's positive in an email and I could still end up receiving an offer. Thank you!! #engineering #software #bloomberginterview Edit - Received an offer!! Thank you to everyone that replied on this post. I was pretty anxious, and it definitely helped me stay a little calm!
I’ve never heard of a phone call rejection at Bloomberg
Yeap. 99% positive. Welcome.
Positive
You passed
How long did it take to know you need to schedule the discussion with senior manager? I just finished two technicals today :(
I didn't hear anything at the end of my interview :(( yeah I'm screwed
What was system design like?
@op what was the timeline from v onsite to this email? Anxiously waiting on this. TIA
Hey curious as to , did you get the email for the other two rounds? I recently completed two technical rounds of onsite and am anxious.
Also finished first two rounds and waiting for HR’s mail. OP, how long does it take from first interview to email? Thank you!
What is offer TC that you received?
Positive. Rejection usually is system generated email.
Thank you so much for your reply!
