There’s literally no reason to keep using Robinhood in 2020. Basically all the traditional brokerages have eliminated fees: - Fidelity - Charles Schwab - Vanguard - e Trade - TD Ameritrade - Merrill Edge - Ally - Sofi Why are you still staying with Robinhood? Big firms like Fidelity/Schwab/Vanguard/etrade have way better customer service - the only reason is the pretty app, but is that worth dealing with outtages?
I agree. Moving to Fidelity today
Options are still free. Others charge 0.65/contract And UI is much easier for options. I use Schwab for stocks and RH for options
Open both
Yeah I have Schwab where I basically buy and hold stocks. RH for only options
First time I deal with an outage in over 1 year
Same reason as buying in Walmart versus Whole foods. Looks nicer, young and it's organic.
I use Robinhood for gambling. Real money stays elsewhere.
Because most of the software engineers can’t figure it out and need “I think it’s going up” buttons.
But I like the green color app on my home screen!
How are the other platforms doing in case of outage? Or do they have anything like what robinhood faces?
pretty matters
Pretty matters a lot for real. Seriously all these backend elitists don’t get that regular folks want to look at pretty things often more than anything else.
