I work at the client's location and am wondering which location will be used for wage classification. #workvisa #h1b #h1blottery
Not happening. The wage rule is the only instance where I agreed with the trump admin. The only decently smart thing they did. Democrats as usual want to give every illegal a GC so that they will ultimately increase their votebank
Wage rule has its problems too, new grads shouldn't be compared to someone with 10 years of experience, the person with 10 years of experience might just be below average and coasting along and the new grad could have great potential. If they separated new grads into a different process though, that would've been cool, and it could also have been a way for the US to stop Indian IT companies from abusing H1B.
New grads are already separated under masters quota plus they have F1 OPT + Stem extension. Enough opportunity for them to bump up their salary
LCA is always for the work location. Not the employers location.
Is this rule finalized or blocked?
Its currently been suspended for 60 days, we dont know 60 days starting when, so its unclear whether it will affect this year's lottery.
