I'm planning to join Ford and I just got an offer. Had a few questions about stock grants and vesting schedules cause my recruiter was unclear. I'm joining an LL5 role I have two stock grants 16.5k and 40k. 40k is considered a sign on. Was wondering if others knew the vesting schedule?
How can it be so low?
They pay high in the cash component.
OK, what is TC and your YoE?
What's the TC and YOE?
3 years
Can you please mention TC and YOE?
Don't start pay discussions and spoil the Ford culture. I am an ex-amazonian too and have realized how toxic amazon culture is. And I am happy for you. Welcome to ford. Just don't do amazon things here
Don’t ruin the culture, sure. But Fords software pay is not exactly inspiring. Their non software pay is pretty good though. I think some discussion around software pay here is warranted. Especially since they hired a consulting company to look into it and then it hush hush vanished into the night. They know.
May be. I hear now
I’m pretty sure it’s 33/33/34% but I’d ask them to clarify.
I’m a recruiter this is correct
https://corporate.ford.com/content/dam/corporate/us/en-us/documents/careers/2022-benefits-and-comp-LL6-sal-plan-2.pdf The vesting schedule is listed in this pdf.
I am curious to know what’s the TC offered and what the YOE is ?
I ended up saying yes to 300K. I have 7 years of experience
What do you work on?
What’s the base?
220K
Great to see. Seeing similar generally on EV side
That’s great offer for Ford standards
