there is a ton of free data science conferences and events in London. I went to like 6 or 7 when I was living there for 2 months. damn I wished I lived there permanently, it was so nice.
Idk about any orgs putting anything on but I know UCLA (specifically Anderson) usually has some sort of data science conference/event in the summer. If you can swing a trip down might be worth a shot
