NFL is private organization, this is not an infringement of first amendment rights. I’m all for the kneeling but this is legal. And if you’re calling out the right for hypocrisy, they’re frequently hypocrites. Nothing new there.

The kneeling was happening years before Trump. It only became an issue because ESPN would not shut up about it and created a ton of drama. Very disappointed by the media.
What are you talking about? NFL players are overly paid employees, if their owners demand that they follow a certain protocol while in uniform, then they should be following. It’s like if a McDonald’s employee refused to say “can I take your order”, sure it’s their “right” to do that, just as it would be my right as an owner to fire them for not doing their job
The right got upset about google-document guy. The right gets upset about other private institutions enforcing non-discrimination regarding trans-folks. The right cries about “ideological diversity”. But it’s BS, they’re selectively talking about these things as a cover for ideological aims.
