Does your company give employees free tickets and all expenses paid trips to the company conference, just to attend/as a spectator? Like without having to give a presentation or set up a booth or anything I/O for google F8 for Facebook Build for Microsoft
No
Not practical for all employees, only if you're needed there.
No. You need to do something to earn that ticket.
Microsoft Build is targeted towards external customers and partners so as an employee, you need to have a reason to be there -- presenting a talk, booth duty, etc. For an internal audience, Microsoft holds a semi-annual conference in Vegas known as "Ready" that employees can attend.
Somewhere between 'No' and 'Fuck No'
Nope... I’ve NEVER been invited to attend Palo Alto Networks ignite event!
Crunchyroll Expo for Ellation
No
No. You're only there if you're working
Yes and it depends on how relevant the conference is!
Are u talking about the Innovate conference for PayPal employees?
I think you you’re talking about an industry conference, whereas OP I talking about a conference your own company runs. OP forgot to mention WWDC for Apple. Which is odd cause s/he works at Apple and the conference is in just a few days.
