Untrue, I can confirm Chinese people care as much about prestige and TC as much as Indians. Which is understandable considering how competitive the immigration pipeline is for these 2 national origins.
As someone who has worked a blue collar job in his youth, I’ve been treated much worse by Indians than East Asians. My general sentiments is that Indians look down on “lower class” more than East Asians
May be he believes in spending his money on experiences and not much into savings. Also Might come from a rich family.

I think most people on this app are in the 22-30 range so anything above 30 is seen as old.

You haven’t said how much they make, how long they’ve been earning it or what they spend the money on. Without that all the rest is useless and if you don’t know that info u don’t know enough to come to the conclusion that they are terrible at finance. They can be 39 but if they make 100k and they’ve been earning that for 5 years then this is great.
