Frustrated with Uber recruiting

I passed the phone screen. Now I'm trying to get all my onsites in 1 week but the Uber recruiter mysteriously stops responding after requesting me for a couple of dates. I want the onsite exactly a week from now and I've informed her this 5 days ago. Tried sending follow up emails. I've had to move mountains to get PTO for the onsites. I don't even know if this is going to happen now. FML.

Stay away

Yeah but I still think Uber is better than Amazon.

Some of their recruiters are absolute garbage where they don't give you any attention until you get the offer and then they try to pressure you to take some shitty offer. Don't bother with Uber, you'll probably get laid off anyway.

Currently going through the exact same situation with linkedin. I'm starting to think that hiring will quicken starting Feb. Jan is a little early.

Red flag for sure.

We have a crappy recruiting team with some slackers, no wonder you are dealing with this, unfortunately some good recruiters that used to be there are not with the company anymore.

Where are they now?

Don’t know

OK. Recruiter reached out finally. Looks like it's because the position might fill up soon. HM is in the process of getting a candidate to accept. Qq for Blind folks: How different /difficult is the fullstack interview route vs backend route?

Go on medical leave? amazon can be a traumatizing experience.

Amazon Katon🙏🔥 OP Jan 8, 2020

I’m actually a top performer. Manager is terrified that I might leave haha

American Express gandalf$$ Jan 8, 2020

All the more reason. Tell the doctor you’re burned out from being a top performer. Bam medical leave while you interview
