Keep failing at cracking PM (Product Manager) interviews. May be I've been applying to more senior roles. Early into my career. 2.5 years in all. Struggling to find the kind of work I want to do (PM) at current workplace. Unsuccessful at cracking interviews when I get a chance, which is difficult too. Need more guidance. Need referrals. Got to keep trying. #frustration #rambling

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
PM is difficult to crack if you don't have 4-5 years of exp because it is a multi-dimensional role and if you are targeting top companies (high bar and thousands of people applying)
I've figured that by now. The hard way. Most of the PM positions in NY area demand 4-5 years of experience. There aren't any APM roles at top-tier technology companies, except the rotational programs which are equally difficult to get into.
