Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
How does Blind feel about the future of these two platforms? They both have seen massive growth in the past few years and seems to only be increasing. How big can they get? Can they expand out of enterprise software eventually and start targeting consumer software? Where do you see these companies 10, 20 years from now? Will they go the way of Oracle, SAP, etc and become legacy, stable companies? Or will they go the way of FAANG and continue to innovate and rapidly grow into different segments of tech? #salesforce #servicenow
It’s a cycle! New companies will emerge and be an alternative cheaper options compared to NOW and CRM.
They both will be replaced by better products faster than they could ever reach FAANG status. If you’ve ever worked on Salesforce’s core product you’ll know very well what I’m talking about
Then why is Salesforce still growing so rapidly? The numbers are insane.
Because it’s Salesforce. They spend an obscene amount of money on sales, less on engineering
They will become the next oracle, SAP, etc. Their software is becoming too complex and entrenched in enterprise companies. Eventually a nimble, upstart product will move to market to take the SMB space and that company will grow until it upends sfdc and servicenow.
How do you feel about zendesk? You guys are in the same space as ServiceNow right?
It's a trainwreck and having a crisis of leadership. The CEO should have spared us all this buyout drama and stepped down but only serves his own interest. I'm hoping to be out of here by the end of the month.
