I see Lime, Bird, Scoot, Scoop bikes everywhere in San Francisco. I am wondering if these companies have a solid future. Anyone care to share insights? I rode a Limebike once and the experience was quite nice. TC : $270k (L4)
Only on good weather days until Gen Zers get to old to bother with that shit.
Millennial here, love using these
It will likely thrive at the centers of tourism, but at other places, autonomous public transport and private transport would prevail.
Will never scale into a company large enough for investment, at least in the US, as it only makes sense it geographically and population dense areas. So there will be a few regionally focused players. Although I can see in Asia a winner could emerge and get big there
The US is a bit of an odd duckling in how much cheap and good land it has to grow into. World population is exploding and, unless the Bilderberg Group and their WEF puppets get their way, it won’t be long before almost all people in the world are packed together like sardines because there simply is no other option. A good case study on those scooters is Israel where they were massively successful which led to a trove of social and legal issues the country had to tackle.

High performers, how often do you have slack off days?
Maybe in some limited geographical areas. US is too spread out in most cities with different weather year round that would make it difficult.
