New Grad 2024 Referral

Hello Blind Community! I have been on this app since i was a Freshman in college (2020) but I never had any reason to post until now, as I am finally graduating next year. I am looking for referrals to companies (specifically big companies like Nvidia, Uber, Doordash, Netflix..) as its been a rumor for awhile that Amazon and Google (..etc) are not taking new grads this year, which makes the pool of applicants more competitive than ever. A little about me, I go to Syracuse University and I am a senior in Computer Science. I have worked on undergraduate research both in cybersecurity and mathematics (homological algebra and the intersection with computer science) with different professors. When I worked on cybersecurity my task was to figure out a better solution to privacy concerns that comes with using different smart home manufacturer's components. This solution involved me going through sample policies set at runtime and analyzing the interactions between the control policies set and the app/smart home device in question. My current research position involves me working with a mathematics professor to help him translate code from Macaulay2 into C and then optimizing it. I also have practical work experience but none directly related to Software Engineering (graphic design, fundraising, etc) as I have decided to work on research. Lastly, I am a member of a few clubs and I am part of a few prestigious programs like LSAMP and HEOP. If it helps I am a US citizen who is a minority. I am based in NYC and I am really hoping to get a job that lets me stay in NYC- this is the main reason I reached out to blind as I can't really find any big companies hiring in NYC however, right now I am open to any location.
