Judge Sets Trump Sentencing Date Four Days Before GOP Convention
Any recommendations on good learning sources/ reading materials, I am lost on how thread scheduling/ concurrency works in real world applications ?
I have some idea of java concurrency maybe limited , but am finding it hard to wrap my head around how RXJava manages concurrency as a lot of it seems obfuscated behind schedulers, I have a limited understanding of the observer subscriber paradigm but no context around how I can tune performance in real world scenarios. So looking for some learning resources there ..
You tagged Netflix but we don't really use it anymore.
Huh? I thought you guys were still using reactive extensions. Weird. I've used reactive extensions several times at Microsoft and love the promise. Perfect for GUIs in my opinion
+1 Java Concurrency in Practice
You mean you want to use RxJava to learn concurrency? That's a bad idea. You need to have a good understanding of concurrency to use things like rxjava effectively. I'd suggest reading java concurrency in practice. I really enjoyed reading it and learned a lot. Ideally you should build something that uses the knowledge, but I understand that can be hard if your work doesn't need it.
