Adobe + Marketo - What does the competition really think?

Now that the deal is final and Marketo will quickly be absorbed into the Adobe ecosystem, I’m curious what the competition really thinks? Our leadership teams would have us believe that the competition is freaking the fuck out right now, I doubt it’s that bad. #hubspot ? #act-on #pardot #sharespring #infusionsoft #noonecareswhatoraclethinks

Don't think anyone at HubSpot is particularly concerned about Marketo, neither before the acquisition nor after.

Agreed. For the most part we play in different markets. The Adobe acquisition further confirms that. For an SMB or Mid Market company, HubSpot is a no brainer. For an enterprise with resources, there should be a good evaluation process. Marketo has lots of strengths, but is a beast to get up and running.
