Avanade Northeast Layoffs
Laid off today after 2.5 years at Avanade. Heard through a last minute meeting with leadership and HR. Severance package based on TC and level. Sr.Analyst, Northeast, Software Engineering TC, ~6 month bench time. Best of luck to all! #layoff #severance #avanade

I have signed an offer with Avanade and is starting in a few weeks. Should I be worried of the offer being rescinded?
I wouldn’t worry for the time being, Q1 and Q2 were pretty tough since pipeline that was anticipated to land got pushed out by roughly 3-6 weeks, so folks who were on the bench for a long chunk of time and not anticipated to be staffed within the next 3 weeks seemed like they were on the list.

Sorry to hear about that. Were you the only one who got laid off or did it impact other folks who are on bench ? I know a person who is on bench right now so thought of checking in if others were impacted as well
