I accepted a CE position with Google recently. Don't onboard for about a month, but speaking with my HM, they indicated first order of business will be to get my Professional Cloud Architect cert before I even start heading to customer accounts. What's the best resource for this, Qwiklabs and Coursera? This is a really slow time for me between jobs so if I can get a jump on it I'd like to over the holidays so I can hit the ground running. I started on the Coursera stuff about 18 months ago, but got busy with other work/training focus for my current job, seemed decent.. Just curious what other CEs have done.
Acloud.guru is good

Wait until you start don’t spend your own money on these. But coursers and quick labs are good, look at the exam guide and study all the public doc pages too.
Yeah I don’t mind dropping a little bit of money to keep me busy over the next couple weeks. I have familiarity with the platform from previous training. I’d like to knock out the cert quickly, if for no other reason to show motivation and a willingness to learn.
Trust me you will have plenty of time to do this during your ramp up. Your comp is tied to customers spend so don’t worry about it and spend some time with family. Once you get a customer it will be balls to the wall crazy so give your self a break before you start. My 2 cents.
How was your onboarding?
