Google does not use GCP internally(they use borg iirc)... It's only for outside.... Any dick and harry web services can scale to 10k... They are probably doing it wrong... GCP is very developer friendly... They probably are not able to use it properly... Aka bad tech lead

YouTube doesn't use GCP.
Many people said YouTube doesn't use GCP. Then what do they use internally ? Why didn't they use GCP? It raises another doubt, does Amazon use AWS or Microsoft uses Azure? Just curious.
Amazon (Retail, devices, ads etc.) is the biggest customer for AWS.
When did YouTube come to market? When did GCP materialize? There’s your answer. Most of Microsoft uses Azure now, but it was a 14 year journey to get there.
