Hi , does anyone have experience interviewing with GM for controls system engineer role? I have a hirevue interview with coding and video questions . What type of coding challenges can I expect to get. (I know the video questions are generally STAR based) #inter#interview #coding #controls
Yes they mentioned it would have coding challenges too
If I remember correctly, they did not ask me questions about coding, but more open question about the process of developing a software product
Thank you
I read this as - GM.. controls .. "system interview" ( controls as a verb) .😂
Hirevue is mostly behavioral at many places. Just prepare for situational questions. You can expect questions like strengths, weaknesses, tell me about a time when you didn't agree with a stakeholder but you still had to deliver on time? Look up questions like that. Prepare an excel doc or something. See yourself talking to the camera, be confident. You'd be fine. All the best.
Thank you:)
Whatever the case is check chegg during the coding challenge you will see the answers
All the best
TC and YOE?
I have had coding questions on hirevue for a swe role. It probably depends on the team. HR is experimenting with the coding interview nonsense. The questions I had weren't even relevant. Just have a second PC nearby or your phone and google what you need. Its a joke. They don't know what they are doing
Please share your experience after the interview
They asked 4 multiple choice questions based on time complexity, max heap . 6 questions based on PID controllers
Doesn’t sound hard. You probably had no difficulties
Hello, did you accept the offer?
Did they specifically say that it is going to be a coding interview? I did a hirevue with them last year and I remember that it was more a set of open generic questions
