Currently interviewing for PWM Analyst in Atlanta. - with 9 years of experience (some in Indian bank and 3 years in US finance), do you guys think I should be considered for associate at least? - I make only about $60k, what should I ask for Atlanta and analyst position? - do they negotiate on base and/or bonus?! Thanks in advance! :)
I think you should be considered for associate, but I guess it also depends on if you had a relevant experience? Also not sure how pwm structures its job title, but I see experienced people coming in as analysts. I am not an expert in asking for salary and stuff, but I would do as much research/prepare as much as possible. You can prepare reasons why you are reasonably worth $xxx.
GS doesn't really negotiate unless you're some sort of rare expert being recruited for a specific problem. There may be slight wiggle room but usually it's their best offer put forth and up to manager discretion on whether or not to negotiate if they absolutely must hire a specific candidate.
How do u make 60k? Are u on H1, isn’t there a minimum cap on salary
