Is there actually any path out of this spiral 😔 Even the latest “interview” https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidjeans/2023/12/22/how-rebellion-defense-the-1-billion-military-ai-startup-hyped-by-silicon-valley-wound-up-in-a-nosedive/ was hyped internally on our Slack as not that bad since it says we doubled our revenue this year, but it feels like that’s a stretch.
This is why paper money is so risky. Even high evaluation startups can dive very quickly.
I wish I thought about that before accepting my offer. The recruiter said that the company was a unicorn and I took that at face value.

Incoming Rebellion CEO Ben FitzGerald, an investor and former executive chairman tapped for the new role earlier this week, conceded to Forbes that the company had faced a “number of management challenges,” along with “acquisition challenges that plague the Department of Defense.” But he said “Rebellion has since right-sized our business, and we have an incredible team in place.”
