There is something wrong with the article, in the same link there is s related new that says $135k/yr in June 2019... I don’t believe all the people double the salary in less than a year.

Good example of why median is better than mean in some examples.
I read the median household income for Seattle is just under 100k. It would be interesting to isolate income info for households with 1+ tech worker. Not sure what % of Seattle households have tech workers, but I could see it being close to 50%
This is king county not just Seattle. It is probably because Microsoft pays bonus on third quarter?
