Generous WFH perks to LinkedIn employees

For a change I wanted to share something positive and uplifting to a wider audience. LinkedIn did this to its employees recently. Every year employees get perkup. $2k to spend on heath and wellness, tax prep, childcare, edu loans, etc. Nothing tangible was allowed. For most employees in 2020 this perk became stale. 2020 Mar:- $500 for wfh equipment. ($400 + a monitor till you are employed == $100) 12 week family care leave designed for pandemic. Online fitness classes by our wellness team. $50 internet monthly $80 phone monthly (old perk) inDay every month (old perk, not applicable for infra teams) @@New UpLift Program@@ 2020 Sep:- Issued bravo points worth $450 to everyone in the company. Allowed $2k to be spent additionally on online classes. 2021:- $2k can be spent on fitness equipment. Which can translate to - "Everyone gets a Peloton". Though we have lots of problems inherent at LinkedIn, they do continue to pamper us with perks even during a pandemic. Perks perception >>> just adding that to TC. If you have a good opportunity, don't hesitate to join. With good perf, your TC will be at par with other top companies at least for 4 years. Let the comparisons begin. What have you got? #perks #linkedinlife

- Wellness reimbursement bumped to 600$ - WFH fund of 500$ - Free subscriptions for Fitness, Mental Health and Meditation apps - If you’re covid positive and under home quarantine, then another 15k INR reimbursement (Dont know how much in US) - every third Friday of month off - Internet access reimbursement - There’s already a learning fund and professional development fund which is pretty cool I’m pretty sure I’m missing other things but this is just on top of my mind so here we go

LinkedIn bugboss OP Sep 20, 2020

I heard good things about adobe perks and wlb is general. But TC seems to suffer. LinkedIn had a Friday off every month since its inception. Has $80 for phone and $50 for internet monthly too.

LinkedIn pacifictea Sep 21, 2020

LinkedIn absolutely does not have a Friday off every month. We have an InDay, which you can do activities with your team, but it’s definitely not meant to be a DTO day each month.

Cisco HR-Angel1 Sep 20, 2020

As an internet company that should be booming, we are only giving away $35 monthly internet credits and 72% of target bonus. 🤣

LinkedIn jbdbwi5 Sep 20, 2020

Lets being the 🍌 🍆 competition

LinkedIn Huskar Sep 20, 2020

Like wfh reimbursement was $300 not $500 op.

LinkedIn micro TC Sep 20, 2020

300 desk/chair + 100 small items + free monitor?

LinkedIn jbdbwi5 Sep 20, 2020

Monitor is not free. you'll have to return it

JUUL hhftry Sep 20, 2020

Juul provided 500$ wfh cash and 75% of target bonus for H12020. Not terrible considering the tumult juul is under. I’m grateful. Plus cell phone subsidy 100$ per month.

LinkedIn FpNd38 Sep 20, 2020

Walmart afxdA37 Sep 20, 2020
