Why do you want to introduce something that’s known to be broken.
SMS has no protection, RCS should have some RCS is also a feature upgrade over SMs Also since RCS is an open standard, Apple is free to implement a non-broken one. But improving messaging between iPhone and Android is bad for business and they have stated that in the court case with Epic.
Why not bring iMessage to Android then?
Apple said that it's bad for business, it would let parents buy cheap Android phones for this kids rather than "forcing" them to buy iPhones

Apple's ego won't let that happen. Apple will rather create a paid sms app with a security tagline and make android users use it instead of them adopting RCS. Tell me more about RCS bugs / vulnerabilities. Earlier Apple sh!tboys spread rumors of how Google pay had zero security but apple pay is highly secure.
