I've been trying to get remote jobs but I graduated college about a year and a half ago. I find a lot that I'm getting auto rejected from remote jobs (startups, bigger companies, etc...). Does anyone have experience/advice with a similar situation?
Most remote jobs are looking for people with 5+ YoE.
I think remote for junior is a bad idea. You need to spend some time in any company where more senior Devs can teach you. It is more for your skills rather than just a job.
You shouldn’t be trying to get remote job with 2 yoe. Find a company you like, develop skill set and reputation and then go remote for same employer after ~3 years. It’s much easier to start onsite and eventually go remote than be hired remotely
That makes sense! Thanks
I know some companies are more open to remote than others
