I keep getting a sense of not feeling good enough and I don’t have an reputable colleagues to tell me why I can’t seem to land an interview for a tech company? I’m primarily in visual design and I’m seeking a visual design, graphic design, UX design or production design role but cannot land a single thing. Idk if it’s my portfolio, my LinkedIn, I’m just really feeling like giving up. If somebody would be open to taking look at my portfolio I’d love to share the link with you. #design #ui/ux #interviews
Probably your portfolio if you’re using the same work to apply for all of those roles.
DM me! Not hiring rn but happy to give feedback
You have to focus and show dedication to one field either visual design or ux design they are seeing you as unfocused that’s why
Feel free to dm if you’d like some feedback!
DM if you’re looking for more feedback!
can i DM you?
Sure
You could try to take a contract role with a larger company as a way to prove yourself and potentially help you get on full-time. That’s what I did and it worked out. I know contract work isn’t ideal but it’s a decent way to tread water and get some experience working with larger companies.
