I have been transitioned from technical architect role to SDM role last year. I have spent 2 years as Tech arch in my previous org. But the calls that i am getting is for entry level manager role. I think no one give a damn to an equivalent position role that you have been part of as a tech architect. I see the same companies even my current org has given same role to 6-8 years of experience folks. How can i fill this gap quickly in my career. Because i am getting opportunities and i am clearing those interviews as well but designation wise I believe i have been pushed back to 3-4 years. If you don’t have experience of managing managers you are not gonna get senior engineering manager opportunity which leaves you with line management role
