Started interview process w/ Instacart and the process has been extremely slow. Took about a week for the recruiter to get back to me and schedule a technical phone interview after finishing an initial call with him. Once phone interview done, it took him another week to reply "We are excited to have you move forward with our interview process! Before we can proceed, we need you to sign our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)... blah blah... " Then I was totally ghosted after that, no followups, nothing for about 2 weeks. Is this normal at IC? Or is the recruiter incompetent? (He started here for ~4 months according to his LinkedIn profile). Or simply I'm on the lower spectrum of their list? Thanks! yoe 8 tc $400 #instacart #recruiting #ic
Instacart is throwing top notch ๐ต and most likely they are getting candidates from all the big tech companies. Therefore, they are being cocky ๐
Must be busy trying to find buyers for the company. Jokes aside, thatโs common early on in the process. Itโs usually a technical sourcer who handles your loop until after the phone screen, and youโre then handed off to a recruiting coordinator for on-site and beyond. Sourcers are typically overloaded and slow.
