I interviewed with google first in July after which the hiring went on hold and had one presentation round in mid August for the position of Customer Engineer (L4). After 5 rounds of interview ( phone screen+ 3 technical rounds+ 1 presentation round), I was told my profile will now be sent out to managers who are hiring for this particular position- the managers will go through my profile and decide if i am a good fit for them on paper and then will have to go through another 30-45min ‘meeting’ where i will be asked about certain specifications during on my resume or something i spoke during my interview The HR says it can take at-least a couple of weeks or months for this one round after which they will decide if they want to extend the offer or not. I was told this round is just to ensure there is no bias happening through the interview procedures and process- and this irked me off. When asked the HR mentioned that unfortunately she cannot fasten the process or give me an exact timeframe unless I show them an offer from any other company which is an exception scenario. This is the second time i am interviewing with Google and boy am I having fun. #google#customerengineer#jobhunt#googlecloud#googleinterview
Interviewing for TPM role soon. How should I prepare for the technical interviews? Any tips?
This playlist is not a complete guideline as such but i used it for googleyness just to understand what aspects are usually evaluated or looked at- might be a good place to start - but all of this is very very high level https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLePbzYpjlB25OKQnKTcxKeC4ptuzn4WC5
I thought after presentation there’s no more RRK stuff? What do you mean they ask you questions from What you said in an interview??
That’s what the HR mentioned when I asked her what should I expect from the HM call.. it’s like a ‘pseudo round’ to check if you are a good fit for their team
I think it’s not like RRK tho, it’s more like what skills you have + your overall personality. Pretty sure it’s just a convo but good to prep your RRK stuff again just in case
In the same boat.. waiting for TM for almost 3 weeks now
Did you get a chance to talk to the HR about this? Any response from their end?
No response yet.. have been following up
