To Start: Nobody Needs PMs Yadda Yadda. With that Done... I’m Considering A Role At GitHub As A PM Manager. I Wanted To Know What The Culture Was Like And How WLB Is. Is There A Lot Of Support At The Company And Is The ROB well Managed Or Is It Constant Fire Drills And Unplanned Budget Meetings Like MSFT? Also Sorry For The Caps, It’s A New Bug Today With Blind On IOS. Already Reported It.

Quitting this Slave life
I've really enjoyed Product at GitHub. I work like 50 hours per week, but that's not typical and we used that to justify hiring more PMs to spread the load out. Honestly, if you like your manager, it's a nice place to be.
What do you enjoy about it? And what is more typical? I understand there’s a need for a LOT of feedback and perspectives on everything but is there a lot of red tape? How is leadership?
I'm ex-msft. Waaaay less red tape. It's more focused on product than most MS PMs ever get to do. I spend more time with customers, the field, and marketing and I never have to run scrum because my engineering manager won't. Leadership is getting better. Pace was too hard the last year. They're being more open to being sustainable these days.
