I have been using my iPhone X for more than five years; I got it as refurbished, not new. Currently, its battery capacity is at 75%. I mainly use it for YouTube, Reddit, and, of course, Blind, so there's no heavy usage. I am planning to buy the iPhone 15, which currently costs around 67k (INR). My company provides a reimbursement of up to 30k for new phones every two years. I am working towards my FIRE goal, which makes me hesitant to buy anything. TC: 18L base + 1L PF YOE: 1.5
Don't waste money on luxuries. Get a brand new Android under 30k and use it for a long time. Also, Oracle provides phone reimbursement wtf?
I am quite accustomed to Apple's ecosystem, so it's hard for me to switch to Android now. Also, the phone reimbursement is from my brother's company. He has a new phone, so I thought of buying it for me.
Sounds like you already made up your mind about buying then. If its from your brother's company why would you write "my company" in the post?

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
iPhone X is outta support, so definitely get rid of it. Whether you want another iPhone or Android is upto your personal preference.
That makes sense but It's hard for me to spend so much on a new device when my current phone can do the same things, even if it's slower with a worse battery. So thought of asking here.
Your phone will stop doing the same things pretty soon as most banking apps have started requiring latest OS versions as RBI has mandated. So even though you could get the battery changed, you should go for a new phone.
