At Glassdoor, You can have option of fully remote too. People are nice/kind and wlb is AMAZING. Everything is slow and easy. Pay not too bad. Learning can be slow because bringing change is difficult. They have also started giving RSU since this year but yeah not like big ipo corps. Good for rest and vest.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Can I negotiate on RSU? I was told by HR that’s the maximum they can provide in RSU and increased base by 10% after negotiation

You said you’re joining on potential growth, yet you’re considering a company with no promised options or Rsu? Obvious answer, Glassdoor. Or get it in writing from spring that they will provide you equity.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea How Glassdoor is doing now? I see that they laid off many When COVID struck

I have no idea honestly, but it just sounded like the better offer objectively

Never heard of SpringML but at Glassdoor you’re almost guaranteed a good WLB, people are smart and very nice, and the flexibility is awesome. They don’t care if you go into the office (eventually), are full remote, etc. Leadership does its best to prevent burnout. The company is doing very well right now in terms of revenue. Chill overall. It’s not a “top tier” company, but recruiters will know the name at least.

Thanks for the reply. Good to hear that. Can I negotiate on RSUs? Or is it the max they provide?

Hmm not sure. We just started giving out RSUs this year and I’ve been an employee, so couldn’t negotiate. You’re an external candidate so why not try?

I am an employee of springml. So I think iam right person to comment. It's a service based company and be ready for any kind of rants from clients. All projects are only on GCP. WLB in India is very bad.what is your yoe? If you are joining in managerial position then good but all our dev counterparts in usa works atleast 12 hours. I would definitely choose prod based glassdoor
