Global Hiring freeze in Microsoft
My recruiter just told me that there is global hiring freeze in MSFT effective today. All the open positions on the jobs site should vanish soon and the freeze is for indefinite period. Not sure what would happen to the offers already rolled out but surely sensing something big like mass layoffs is around the corner. #tech

US has been under a hiring freeze for months. Not sure if it was also broadly global, but this is old news in the states
