All depends on the team and location. Stay away from the Kirkland office though, they think they're all that when they aren't

Pay is shit, but PTO will make up for it. I took 1 month and 3 weeks of last year. Teams? CTO org is something I would not recommend.
Agree with most GDDY posters here. Pay is way below market, but work life balance and PTO are great as long as you select the right team. Avoid CTO org and Hosting. I would suggest staying out of any CA office, there is a long term strategy around minimizing employees in these locations due to CA employment laws. Overall many Engineering roles are moving overseas and I expect this trend to continue given the cost savings as long as there are no glaring quality issues. We used to be an Engineering / Tech / Product company but we’re moving toward a customer experience organization. Rough waters ahead but I firmly believe stock will continue to rise.
What is annual stock refresher at GoDaddy for senior level ( SWE III ) like?
Ik this post is old but would you mind elaborating on why people should avoid hosting and the cto org? Not in either of those orgs but I’m about to start working closely with them lol

Pay is shit. Too much drama. Antiquated processes and tools. Brand copies other companies. Leadership can’t get it together even with a new ceo. A lot of business immaturity. Go elsewhere. This company is less professional than a McDonald’s in rural Alabama.
Stay away from CTO; hosting and info security.

One of the worst companies around. They live off of drama and can’t figure out roles and responsibilities. They brought folks over from Walmart who think they know how to run a business, anything but!!! Google will eat them in a few years to come. All they care about is profits over the customer.
