Godaddy offer evaluation
Hi Blind! Please help me evaluate the following MLE offer from Godaddy (Kirkland): Base: 140 K Equity: 80K (over 4 years) Bonus: 10% Sign-on: 10K Relocation: 15 K I'm a Ph.D. new grad. I'm not sure about the level yet. Update: The offer says "Senior Machine Learning Scientist". I negotiated the equity and relocation. At level 4 the bonus jumps from 10% to 15%, so it must be 1-3. With that in mind the base seems good. RSU seems lower than I would have expected but it's really tough for me to gauge given my background with the company. I will add that there are yearly refreshers depending on your performance/level (note that a low performer may not receive a refresher). Am guessing its around 10-50k/yr for levels 1-3 and more for higher levels, but its up to your manager to divide the RSU refreshers across the team. Though GoDaddy isnt the place to get rich from stocks popping, given how flat GDDY has been for the past few years. It more feels like a quarterly bonus (after the first year's vest)
How much were you able to negotiate for sign on and relocation ?
$20K equity a year? Base and bonus looks on point.
