which one would you choose for back end services dev. i am a backend java developer but looking to expand my skills in another technology. Please suggest which one is better to learn from market demand perspective
Lack of a robust type system in Python makes it a pain in the ass IMO for non-throw away scripts
This And the fact that an object is just a dict with attribute names
Doesn’t depend on what you want to build?
Python because I don’t know how to write Go and never used it yet like hating on it anyway
Loooool
To say “Backend services” - is like saying to write any kind of shit, which is not js (not node js)
Python dont have good multithreading support. Hence if ur software needs to launch lot of worker thread then python wont be good choice
Today python in 3-5 years golang
Go is still maturing so I would vote for python at the moment
Try Kotlin...
Microservices in C++. The rest doesn't matter.
Python - Jake “The Snake” Roberts is a big fan.
