Goldman Sachs' Early Careers - Product Management & Product Marketing

Looking for general advice or insights regarding Goldman's Early Careers program, specifically for Product Management and Product Marketing for someone trying to get into a Product Marketing role with a Digital Marketing background. Is it a good training ground to become a PMM or PM? What's the length of the program? Is it rotational? What's the culture and WLB like within the product teams? I have 3 YOE in digital marketing (agency), and 1 YOE in retail merchandising so 4 YOE total. The Early Careers program states it's for new/recent grads from class of 2017-2019 so not sure if it's a huge issue that I graduated 2016. I want to get into Product Marketing (also open to Product Management), and know that I'll have to start entry level as an associate at a start up or hopefully join a structured APM/APMM program. I know the FANG programs are extremely competitive, so just want to be realistic and also apply at other types of companies as well. I'm sure the training and learning opportunities will be very hit or miss if I go the start up route, so wondering if Goldman's program will be a good starting point for me to build the skills/resume to eventually become a PMM at a Tech company. #advice #productmarketing #tech #goldmansachs

Current TC? Have you talked to anyone in HCM or the team to get more details?

Current TC is $70k (my company’s been on a promotion freeze for almost two years now, I was promoted without additional pay). I haven’t talked to anyone at GS yet. I had some friends work there in IB who moved onto PE or hedge funds in the last year or two , don’t know anyone who works in a non-banking role at GS
