I am currently interviewing with Goldman Sachs for a role in the a Risk Strats team at the associate level in the London office. The first round was an interview with a team member and the second was a super day (3 interviews with 3 different team members). These interviews focused on math and programing questions. I got through these rounds and invited to a 45 minute interview with a Managing Director. Could anyone who has interviewed with Goldman or currenlty works there let me know what this interview round usuaully covers? #interview #goldmansachs #quant #MD
Don’t dude is a mess
Worse than Credit Suisse?
good point, probably a better mess to be in than at CS
How did it go?
Alright. It was a technical interview. He said there are usually at least five technical rounds usually more. This was my fifth so I guess I'll have more if I passed this one.
More programming or something else? I've got a super day coming up so not as far down the line as you yet.
Every team is different but doubt the MD will quiz you again on technicals. Likely to be behavioral and to get to you know. Usually when you are at this stage you have an offer in hand already. Google GS values and just frame your story to highlight those. I've been at like half the BBs (GS included) and all the MD interviews had been chill.
Thanks a lot for the insight!
