Can someone give me a straight description of what the Sky team is about and their value in the company? Why does everyone think GS tech is inferior/outdated? Also interested in this. Is interviewing a position of sky team in NJ.
SKY team works on supporting cloud tools for the Infra team. They don't really work on hosting the application but they develop and maintain all the necessary tools for the Infra team. Tech at finance firms is outdated. But, there are some teams(SKY team) in GS who uses the latest tech stack.
So it's infrastructure. Not application/feature development?
