Goldman Sachs Video interview

Has anyone given a GS video interview using their bluejeans platform? I've a interview coming up tomorrow and I'm freaking out in the last minute. Will I be asked to write code on the platform? Does their platform have like a code IDE or do I have to use Google docs or something? If anyone has any inputs on this it is much appreciated. Thanks. TC: new grad(0)

Is this the one where you talk to about 2-3 different engineers?

Yes. I've two interviews back to back. With two engineers for each interview.

Had that same interview. It was honestly super unprofessional. Each engineer didn’t even know they were going to be interviewing until like the hour before. They didn’t know what the next steps were, and I ended up waiting for the “third” interviewer and ended up on another persons interview, where they thought I was the interviewer. No coding at all. No white boarding. All they did was ask a bunch of systems questions and I answered them all verbally. Got asked some oddly basic questions also, such as, why do you use private classes? At the end of the day, got an on-site from them. Don’t worry, you’ll be totally fine. Just make sure you’ve studied the information for the specific team you’re interested in. Make yourself sound knowledgeable, be verbose, and ask questions.

It was an awful experience for me. Two guys in London and one guy in NYC grilling me with brain teaser / algorithms questions. No whiteboard or coding platform whatsoever, just voice and me scribbling some diagrams on a notebook and trying to show it to them awkwardly using my webcam. They were pretty impatient too making me even more nervous. Needless to say that I bombed hard the interview.

Jesus Christ! I hope that's not the case for me. It sounds pretty awful. How can a big company like GS not care about the interview process and improve it. :/ Did you give feedback regarding the platform?

Nope. Just a standard "thanks for participating"
