I have a coderpad with Goldman in the next week. What should I expect? Behavioral + two coding questions? Different format? LC medium? Something else? It’s for core engineering #goldmansachs #softwareengineering
OP, How did the interview go ? Any insights please. I have mine scheduled for next week.
Gave my schedule - them got ghosted. Good luck!
Sorry to hear that OP, What was your YOE and which location did they say for ?
Weirdly enough, they just reached out to schedule. 1.5 and NY
How did your interview go?
I couldn’t understand the interviewer - was trying to be as polite as possible and the phone was quite glitchy/white noise and and they became extremely frustrated with me. The behavioral questions were hard because I couldn’t understand them, then the coding question was objectively easy but me misunderstanding a hint they tried to give made me go for an approach they weren’t looking for. They refused to believe the phone was cutting out it was just not a pleasant experience.
Hmmmm, also a JPMC (SEP grad) waiting for a scheduled coderpad with GS. We’ll see I guess
Same position. I tried my best and the interviewer just got progressively more angry with me because I had a very hard timing hearing what they said. I had to just resign because of the lack of patience.
What level? For analyst and associate levels, it's usually 1 LC easy and 1 LC medium within ~50-55 minutes. And remaining 5-10 minutes are for the usual chatter, like 'tell me about yourself' at the start of interview and asking questions to interviewer at the end.
Associate or analyst is in the job description so yeah
