Goldman Sachs offer evaluation
I got a offer from Goldman Sachs for Associate role. Base 150k and 30% bonus of Base every year. Total comp 195k Location: NYC Current Tc 82k Yoe 2 year fulltime in US, 1 year as an intern back in India

I just had a single call they first said 120 I said 130, they came back with 150
Why would they come back with more than you asked for that doesn't make sense unless I'm missing something
150K base for 2 YOE is too good to be true..whats your first year bonus ?
They said it will be less depends on when I start.If I had worked an entire year I would get 30% of my base
Cool…Associate here, That’s a good base for a 2 YOE associate. Generally for first year, the bonus can be pre negotiated. So you can ask for a fixed amount and they will pay you. As for second year, the bonus might or might not go down.. Anyways, Congratulations on the bump and welcome to the cult.

For me when I had a call they asked me my expectations, I said I was not keen on bonus much and wanted a higher base. Like I said they said 120 ish I was like 130 k for NYC. Not sure about the figure for Dallas I think someone might be able to evaluate that for you
