I have an offer from both Goldman and Morgan Stanley, what should I choose? Goldman offers 15% more salary but not sure about the culture. Goldman - 100K MS- 90K Which one is better in tech? Where will i have more opportunities to work on exciting projects? Which offers more opportunities for Deep Work? Location: Asia, so not much taxes YoE - 2 TC - 60K #goldmansachs #morganstanley #swe #finance #career
I won’t take the other and I’d quit your current role. I think you’re grossly underpaid if you have a college degree..
15% more of what? You need to post the offers. What does more demand mean?
What is the offer from both the companies?
You also need to follow the Blind etiquette and share your offers for GS and MS
Also any idea of which groups within GS and MS? Culture/learning/ growth can vary deeply between teams/groups/BUs This will help people offer better advice Generally MS is less stressful than GS, but GS discretionary bonus pay can outshine MS by a significant degree. Some people make more in bonuses than in fixed, even in Tech roles at GS. So the overall earning potential is much higher with GS irrespective of the starting TC
Also, in my limited experience, smarter people work at GS than at MS. GS is also much more open to newer tech than MS is. So learning is definitely better at GS
Is GS offering 100k dollars for 2yoe nowadays in India?
It’s not India

Hello. can i ask for your referral for entry developer at Morgan stanley, please? I finished 600 Lc, and graduated from CS rank <10 university, with 2 internship at fortune 500 companies. I would greatly appreciated your help🥲🥲😭😭the job market is really hard for new grad this year🥲🥲thank you so much 🥹🥹🥹
If there is any open position at MS, sure
GS. It used to be that people in the financial industry are willing to accept lower pay from GS for comparable roles. So, assuming everything else is the same, a higher pay from GS is better. I hope they give you good relocation package.

First things first : post the TC
