Hey folks, What percentage of base salary is provided as bonus usually? Offered: 60L(base) Current: 40L Yoe: 7 I understand that this depends on performance too but what is the number on an average #goldmansachs
Ask the recruiter to give you some guidance in absolute numbers. Keep pushing and they will eventually tell you a number which they call as silent whisper for st year. My guess is it should be somewhere around 15%-20% of your base.
It's around 20% for the first year. Not sure about the next year though. That's where the problem is
Nice offer! The bonus depends on the division/team. For federation, it will range from 20-30%, and for revenue, it can go as high as 100%
Woah. Do folks in engineering and product make that much bonus (even in revenue divisions)? I thought it maxes out at 30-40% for non-bankers.

Don't join Goldman, you will regret it. Tech culture is pathetic and they don't give you laptops to work. you will work on virtual windows. Interview more.
Remember,they will give you high base to start with, but you will regret your yearly hikes till you stay there
What is the ballpark range that we're looking at? The recruiter mentioned that it's atleast 10%. Isn't that true?
