Looking for companies in India that satisfy three properties:- 1) Good TC 2) Decent projects 3) Supports international transfers Any idea which all companies fit the bill? I know of the following:- Amazon Google (?) Microsoft Theses companies are out since they don't normally allow international transfers afaik- Salesforce Oracle/OCI Atlassian DE Shaw Indeed Does anyone have any idea about the following companies? Apple Goldman Sachs Uber Stripe Twitter Tower Research Rubrik Confluent Nutanix Cohesity #tech #indiasalary TC- 55L, YOE- >4
Atlassian allows international transfers.
I heard it's pretty tough. Do you know the exact policy?
For stripe just apply to Singapore or Dublin (or many other locations) directly if you are OK with outside US. They have many openings right now.
Uber would be your best bet here as they allow international transfers along with a good TC and good quality work! Also extensively hiring in India currently.
Apple doesn't support AFAIK. Google is your best bet. Uber requires just spending 2 years in India before going to US. GS, nutanix no chance.
Goldman Sachs and "2) Decent projects" will not go well together - in most of the teams the work is shitty. You'd have to be really lucky to find a good gig
I heard their CIMD Marcus team does good work?
Uber allows internal transfers after 2 years, but with current visa issues in US, I don't really think any company will encourage internal transfer.
No for Cohesity.
Why not?
They are aggressively hiring in india. They won't move anyone to US I guess direction is ramping up engineers in india. That being said its good time to enter in cohesity since they are looking for good engineers. Maybe in future transfer is possible but it doesn't look like it right now
Thanks for putting up this list. AMD Intel

First, nice TC dude at 4YOE. It should be mostly due to stock appreciation. Did you spent all 4 years at LI? Second, internal transfer why not through Linkedin?
Not all 4, but a lot of it. Internal transfer here is an option, but idk what would the policy be like post Covid.
I think the policy will remain similar, for your YOE it would be easy to meet new H1B policies, and Linkedin has a preference while applying to H1B afaik.
