Hi there, I have a good resume (as a college student) but I am terrible at leetcoding for full-time roles. I have interned at Google, Apple, Facebook (2x) and have a return internship offer from Google this summer but I feel like I'd rather interview with other companies than be boxed into Google just because I have a final internship with them. Is that a bad way of thinking about it? Do I need to just get good at leetcode? Or should I coast with the google offer and just never leave the company... #swe #google #faang #tech
It doesn’t hurt to keep interviewing and having Google in your back pocket if nothing else pans out. That’s a pretty great backup plan considering many people dream to work there. But regarding leetcode/interviewing, it is a separate skill. With time you will Improve.
With all these internships and landing to G, clearly you are doing something right.
Secure your internship at G, and interview if you want
Just keep practicing. Entry level is as easy as it gets interview wise, since you only really have to think about leetcode
You are clearly what is called an OVERACHIEVER. Slow down and enjoy college, things will work out
"I have 60% of FAANG on resume, please help" lol. It's all about perspective
How did you get those offers if you’re bad at lc then? Maybe you’re not as bad at lc as you think
