I am interviewing with reddit. Is it good time to join in reddit? What is your opinion about their IPO? Current TC 250K #reddit
Wow just answer the dude’s question or move on, mom. Is it a good time to join, yes. But it would depend on your current position within your company — what do you like vs not like. Do you like your current wlb and team? There’s a lot more context needed about your current job to make a more data driven decision. Also how many YOE?
Calm down kiddo. I was just putting in words what many didn’t bother replying as you can see from lack of comments. I was advising OP to not loose focus and get side tracked instead of prepping for the last round of interview.

Sure
Depends where you currently are - Reddit doesn't pay well compared to Big N companies AFAIK.
what about their ipo gains? I think they have better wlb.
IPO gains could definitely make up for it but I'm skeptical that they will have a lucrative IPO. They're a 16 year old company - just a year younger than Facebook - you'd think that surely they'd already be public if they were doing well. Also social media stocks aren't doing too hot right now. For the record, I'm normally an advocate for joining unicorns, I just don't think Reddit is that promising.
Did you end up joining? How was the offer? I'm considering joining.
Ask this question after u get an offer. For now just focus on clearing the interview.
Cleared all technical interviews and just EM interview pending
Congrats but I still advise to focus on getting verbal offer before contemplating this. For now thinking Reddit is the best place to work will give u proper drive in getting an offer.
