Good time to buy TSLA stock?
Pretty low rn. And I believe in its products. Thoughts?
Nope. Company lives on a quarter to quarter basis. Its up to u if u wanna trust a company like that with its finance management. There is never enough money with Tesla (cant make profits), so it would sell it shares/bonds to raise money (in lay man's terms- accummulate more debt), upto u if u want to trust this kind of operation.

I bought some at this price. But again like the first comment said, no one knows the actual price. Atleast until a company is making consistent profits and settled for a standard growth. So buy it based on what you think the company would be valued eventually. For me, the product is great and the person who runs it is the best combination of science and business. And I think he genuinely cares about the environment, so why not bet along with him. Like many others, I too feel that Elon behaves like an uncontrollable child saying stupid things wiping off millions in stock. But I chose to ignore that noise and really believe that if the product is really good and kept improving, the company will eventually succeed.

Will probably bounce back to its usual 300-350 range, and if global model 3 starts (it just begins and demand for that type of car outside is way higher than in the US), then unlikely to stop growing. Anyway, perfect time to buy (long-term) right now.
Low relative to what? Don't emotionally react to charts. Assess what level of success is priced into the stock right now and invest if you think it's way off. Or better yet invest in an ETF and skip a highly volatile, difficult to interpret investment.
Wouldn't you agree that with the rising nationalism in the U.S that Tesla, overtime, is a solid investment? Their prices are approaching everyday family prices.
Lower prices are important for long-term market penetration, but it's also cutting into their margins when their operations are still an enormous cash drain. It's way too complicated for me to assess, and even harder to assess relative to their current price. If I were a stock picker, which I'm not because it takes way too much time to do semi-decently, I'd be hunting for deals like SHOP rather than wading into TSLA's emotionally charged waters.
